Mercantilism: government controls what is bought, sold, etc. so that the nation can become wealthy.
Free Enterprise: people can buy, sell, etc. as they wish...competition

free interprise is a good thing today because we dont want to just by from one place, we want to buy from a lot of places. so i really love free interprise.

If the US had mercantilism in the economy we would have a wealthy, dirty environment. What I hate about free enterprise is that you have competing brands. What I love about free enterprise is that you have freedom in buying, shopping, and land.

i don't think it would be the best nation and i think there would be slaves just like cayden said.I'm also pretty sure we wouldn't have as many people.Sometimes the prices are really high because the people get to pick.The government does'nt control it.
