Where do you live?

Last week we studied the geographic factors of the 13 colonies, which in turn is why colonists settled where they did.

Question for you....

If you could live anywhere in the world, what GEOGRAPHIC FACTOR would interest you to live there? In order to receive credit...you must answer the question: tell me where you want to live, the geographic factor(s) involved (topography, climate, natural resources, etc.), AND what those factors have to do with you wanting to live there ....the why!!!!

Don't forget to put your first name and first letter of your last name.

Maybe later in the week....I'll tell you mine :)

  4. I would like to live in Singapore,Singapore. I would like to live there because in Singapore there is great climate, and the natural resources are great. Singapore is an island itself on the Pacific Ocean so there is always fresh or salt water. Another reason is because there is good food in Singapore.
Why I want to live there is because my mom was born there and lived there,I've been there and it is very beautiful, and the climate reason is because it it always around 80-95 degrees farenhieght, so it is pretty warm there.

  5. cody -- I have been to Hawaii....one of the best trips I ever had. I am ready to go back. I'll come visit you if you move there :)

Mackenzie -- aww, New York...I want to go there too. But, I just want to visit. Too busy and crowded for me. I want to ring in the New Year there and watch the ball drop!!

Molly -- glad school is good for you!! You are a wonderful student and a pleasure to have in class!

Lieve -- sounds like an awesome place. I have been to China, but never Japan. My husband was thinking about going there for our honeymoon, but we bought a house instead...maybe one day. Seems like I have a lot of visiting to do.

  6. If you were wondering Singapore is pronounced (Sing-a-pour). Singapore is made up of many colorful asian coultures. In Singapore they eat a lot of Asian Food (I myself am half asian) examples, Chicken Rice,Chicken Curry, ect. ect.

  7. Lieve -- I bet it doesn't taste like the Asian food here in America...all that greasy, fried stuff. At least in China it didn't. I starved for two weeks until we found a Pizza Hut, McDonald's, or KFC (and those didn't taste the same)!!
